Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has a shortlist of high profile names to replace likely Manchester United signing Dimitar Berbatov.

The People says Tottenham are not close to landing a replacement, although their shortlist includes Valencia's David Villa, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar at Ajax, Russia's Euro 2008 star Roman Pavlyuchenko, and Luis Garcia of Espanyol.

Ramos has already splashed £50m this year on Luka Modric, Jonathan Woodgate, Alan Hutton, Heurelho Gomes, Giovani Dos Santos, and John Bostock.
