Sporting CP coach Silas has defended Bruno Fernandes over his form slide.
The midfielder has been waiting to join Manchester United, but played a full 90 in defeat at Braga on Sunday.
The result has heaped pressure on Silas, who was eager to defend his captain.
"(He's) very good, always in a good mood and always available to work," reasoned Silas.
"I realise that he is more anxious, but I didn't notice it in training or in the game."
United and Sporting will resume negotiations today over a fee for Fernandes.
