Luciano Spalletti has thanked Inter Milan fans for their support after his dismissal on Thursday.
Spalletti has since been replaced by Antonio Conte.
He posted to social media: “It's not true that I was often the only one to take responsibility and step up, because you were always there! Strong fans… strong destinies.
“Thank you for the 2,530,311 emotions… #withoutstopping "
Spalletti added: “THANK YOU PRESIDENT for allowing me the honour of being the Coach of Inter."
