Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuente admits he is disappointed with Ilaix Moriba.

The former Barcelona midfielder played for Spain's youth teams but is now committed to Guinea.

De le Fuente said of the RB Leipzig midfielder: "I didn't understand Ilaix Moriba's thing. I think the best option these guys have is to play with the Spanish National Team."

The coach also had a word for Ilaix's former Barca teammate Nico Gonzalez.

He stated: "He is an amazing player. When you see hundreds of footballers, sometimes one catches your attention. It is a sixth sense. You can notice a fatigue, but a player who plays at 17 years 50 games, he is gifted. They are exceptional. They are natural processes: there are footballers who climb stairs three at a time."
