Spain U17 coach Jose Lana insists thy can be proud of their players after their World Cup elimination.
Spain lost to Germany 1-0 in their quarterfinal thanks to Borussia Dortmund striker Paris Brunner's successful penalty.
Lana said at the final whistle: "In soccer, the one who scores the most goals wins.
"We are proud of the work of the kids. The objective was for them to compete here against rivals of the same level, at the highest level in the world, and for them to leave being better footballers than when they arrived.
"I think the objective has been met."
