Southampton are pushing to re-sign Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana this summer.

The Daily Express says Southampton are ready to try to tempt Lallana back to the south coast in the summer.

The Liverpool midfielder, who came through the famed academy at Southampton, has become a summer target for Leicester as well as Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham.

The former Saints star's contract at Anfield runs out this summer, and Leicester were reported this week to have made an initial approach for the 31-year-old.

The England midfielder's time at Anfield has been hit by injury, and he has become a bit-part player at the club under Klopp, starting only three Premier League games this season.
