Jayden Danns scored twice for Liverpool U18s in their 2-2 draw with Stoke City on Saturday.

Danns is the son of former Reds trainee and Blackburn Rovers midfielder Neil Danns.

Reds coach Mark Bridge-Wilkinson told Liverpoolfc.com: “Not our finest performance; first half was OK but not great, 1-0 down at half-time.

“Then Jayden Danns scored a couple of goals, some good play involved in both of them, to go 2-1 up. And then we concede a penalty straight after we score the second really, which was quite naïve really on our part.

“We created a number of chances in the second half where we could and probably should have won the game, but we didn't take them. So, not our finest day but OK, lots of positives still to take."
