Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Eric Bailly remains a big part of his plans.
Bailly was absent for much of the previous campaign as a serious knee injury limited him to just 11 appearances across all competitions, and he only managed to start a single time in the Premier League.
When asked about his plans for the season, Solskjaer sent a timely reminder of Bailly's abilities and predicted he will get much more minutes in the coming year.
“Don't forget Eric Bailly," Solskjaer told MUTV. "He missed up until February and missed more than half of the season. But he came back stronger and stronger and, towards the end of the season, he looked really strong.
"So I think we'll see a lot of Eric. He's looked really strong in training as well."
His return to full fitness could be a timely boost for United. Though the club has eight senior centre-backs on the books, Axel Tuanzebe is still recovering from foot surgery, while Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling are up for sale.
