Solskjaer: De Gea can be Man Utd's greatest ever

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes David de Gea is capable of going onto become the club's greatest ever.

United keeper de Gea made ELEVEN saves to single-handedly deny Tottenham at Wembley and Solskjaer put him alongside Edwin van der Sar and Peter Schmeichel.

Solskjaer, who enjoyed his sixth straight win as caretaker boss, said: “He is the best keeper in the world. We've had some great goalkeepers and he's challenging Edwin and Peter for the No 1 spot historically.

“He had one (brilliant game) against Arsenal last year. He should've held a few of them! One or two fantastic saves and the rest of it was about concentration.

“Team spirit is the first thing. Second is we can defend. (Phil) Jones and Victor (Lindelof) were fantastic. We've got the best goalkeeper in the world. We've got blistering pace. It's a fantastic goal – it's hard to do that, you know. It's a well-struck finish."
