Alexey Smertin has recalled how then Chelsea captain John Terry organised a videogame tournament to bring the squad together.
The former midfielder was speaking at the Games of the Future e-sports draw ceremony.
He recalled: "Many football players play video games. When Chelsea changed its squad by thirty percent, the first thing John Terry did was to gather us and organise an e-football tournament.
"He ordered medals, a cup, which he himself won!
"When we came to train on the field, he brought this cup and said that this was our first common trophy. We even had our own rating, I remember that besides Terry, [Didier] Drogba and [Frank] Lampard played very well."
