The brother of AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi has jumped to his defence.

Simone Inzaghi is on the coaching staff at Lazio.

"Things have been going wrong at Milan for years," Simone told Il Processo di Lunedi.

"It's not Pippo's fault. This season will be very helpful to my brother for his career."
