Watford boss Marco Silva is remaining realistic about expectations for the season despite the Hornets sitting a comfortable eighth in the Premier League.

"We have a lot of games to play. It's important to start well, but this is a new game, a new fight.

"The only realistic aim is to remain in the Premier League. That's the goal. We know more or less how many points we need to achieve that.

"Until you achieve those points, your goals don't change."
