Former Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has spoken of his admiration for Burnley winger Aaron Lennon.
The speedy winger spent three years at Everton before signing for Burnley in 2018.
Discussing his past pursuit of the 34-year-old on The Analysis Show, Sherwood said: "Aaron Lennon, he's older than me, Aaron. He's still playing, but it doesn't matter if you're still sticking the ball in the top corner like that. I tried to take him to Villa, they wouldn't allow me to do it.
“You know why he plays for Sean Dyche, because he's so diligent.
"He does the job the manager wants, he puts the work in coming back and he still offers a threat going forward – that is why he is playing so many games."
