Sheffield United would welcome the chance to take Hull City defender Harry Maguire on-loan.
Maguire left the Blades for Hull over the summer.
"Harry is Hull City's player and so it would be disrespectful to discuss him in detail," United's managing director Mal Branningan told the Sheffield Star.
"But if the opportunity to speak with him did materialise then it's one we would accept."
