Sheffield United have been alerted as Silko Thomas appeared on Chelsea's released list.

Thomas will leave at the end of the month.

The young winger had trials with United in January and appeared set to sign for the Blades.

However, the club's transfer embargo thwarted their plans.

The Blades could now step in, says the Sheffield Star, with Thomas available.
