Sheffield Utd boss Wilder tells players: We have obligation to fans

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is confident his players will continue to fight for the remainder of the season.

The Blades were hammered 4-1 at home by Burnley yesterday.

But Wilder said: "We understand the significance of today's result. The way I was brought up as a professional footballer, I like to think that the boys have certain qualities and carry on until the bitter end.

"Until it is mathematically impossible for us, we have to. I'll get to it. My employees do too. The players have to do that. We have an obligation to the supporters and the line itself.

"I don't think there was a lack of fight today."
