Sheffield United transfer target Tommy Doyle could be made available by Manchester City.
The Premier League giants do rate Doyle very highly as a long term prospect.
However, the Citizens do not see him as immediate first team material, per The Star.
City have left Doyle out of the traveling party for the UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla on Wednesday.
Doyle spent last season on loan with Paul Heckingbottom's side, and the club want to bring him back.
While James McAtee is on the plane with Pep Guardiola's City first team to the Super Cup, Doyle may be on the outskirts for this season if he stays at City.
