Shearer insists no reason for Man Utd panic

Alan Shearer insists it isn't all doom and gloom at Manchester United.

The Red Devils were played off the park by Brighton on Saturday but still managed to win 3-2.

One of the reasons for the victory was their fearsome counter-attack which resulted in Marcus Rashford making it 2-1 at the AMEX.

And Shearer says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can be thankful for his attacking players.

"On the plus side, they've still got this wonderful combination of hitting teams on the break," Shearer told Match of the Day.

"A magnificent pass from Bruno Fernandes, the weight of the pass and the run from Rashford, but there is so much more to do. He sits Ben White down twice. That is a magnificent goal.

"For all that we saw about them being poor defensively, they've still got that magic moving forward and can offer things like that."
