Former England captain Alan Shearer is impressed by Liverpool's attacking signings Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho.

Shearer expects both to hit the ground running once the season kicks off.

Speaking on Sky Sports ahead of the annual Sir Bobby Robson Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament, he said: "Two huge signings.

"Two fantastic players. I'm certain both players will score a lot of goals in the Premier League and will make their clubs better.

"I've seen bits of them in the Champions League, obviously."
