Tottenham are battling to hold onto France international fullback Pascal Chimbonda.

Seville have become the latest club to reveal their interest in him, says the Mirror.

Chelsea have already had a £10million bid for the ex-Wigan full-back rejected and have now been joined in the chase for his signature by the UEFA Cup winners.

It is a dream situation for 28-year-old Chimbonda - well aware of the interest from the Spaniards - as he was an unknown before being brought to Wigan in July 2005 by Paul Jewell.
