Sevilla are rivaling Roma for Liverpool midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri.
The Liverpool Echo says Liverpool have turned down loan approaches from both Sevilla and Roma for Shaqiri.
The Switzerland winger has had a season largely blighted by injury and has featured just 10 times in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side, making only three starts.
With a front three of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino firing Liverpool towards a first league title in 30 years, Shaqiri has been unable to break into the team on a regular basis when fit.
That has led to advances from both Sevilla and Roma who want Shaqiri on loan for the remainder of the season.
However, the Reds have no intention of offloading an important squad member at such a crucial stage of the campaign for Klopp's title-chasing side.
