Villarreal winger Yerry Pino's season is over.

The Spain international is out for the season due to a knee injury. It is likely to see him miss the Euros.

Pino suffered the setback in training on Wednesday.

Villarreal announced today: "After the tests carried out this morning, it is confirmed that in the training carried out yesterday in the Sports City, Yeremy Pino suffered a break in the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee.

"The club will shortly announce the details of its intervention."
