The Scotland U21 team were beaten comfortably by Holland in qualifying for the 2015 European Championships.
Billy Stark's team was brushed aside 4-0 by the Dutch in Nijmegen with all four goals coming in the second half.
Tonny Trindade de Vilhena, Luc Castaignos, Mike van der Hoorn and Jesper Drost all netted for Holland as Scotland suffered their second heavy defeat in recent times after the 6-0 friendly loss to England.
The Scottish side opened their Euro2015 qualifying account with a 3-0 victory over Luxembourg in March but will now look to bounce back to winning ways when they host Slovakia in Paisley on October 10.
