Scotland defender Andy Robertson has suffered a setback that could derail his season.
The left-back will go back to Liverpool after suffering a shoulder injury against Spain in a Euro 2024 qualifier.
Not only is Roberston now out for an unspecified time, but Scotland also lost the game 2-0.
Spanish goalkeeper Unai Simon landed awkwardly on Robertson to cause the injury.
Reds fans will have flashbacks to the time that Mohamed Salah suffered a similar injury at the hands of Sergio Ramos against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
“Andy has hurt his shoulder," Scotland boss Steve Clarke said after the match in Spain.
“He will go back to his club now."
