Scotland boss Steve Clarke says he took Billy Gilmour off in Sunday's win over Luxembourg as a precaution.
The Chelsea midfielder came on in the second-half and looked impressive before a heavy challenge forced Clarke to make a substitution.
It was feared Gilmour had suffered a bad injury, but Clarke says that wasn't the case.
Clarke told Sky Sports: "We took him off as a precaution, the medics will assess him but he seemed fine when he was off the pitch.
"He was disappointed to be off but (we'll be) ultra-cautious and the medics will assess him.
"But everything looks OK for now."
Scotland eventually won the match 1-0 thanks to a goal from Southampton striker Che Adams.
