Savage says Man Utd should keep Alexis

Former Manchester United forward Robbie Savage says they should keep hold of Alexis Sanchez.

The former Arsenal striker has struggled since his January 2018 arrival.

But Savage wrote for the Mirror: "... although United have not seen the best of Alexis yet – and certainly not value for money – I still believe he could have a major part to play under Solskjaer if he can unleash the genie from the bottle."

However, Savage says Fred should be sold.

"I was tempted to add £52 million flop Fred, because he has much to prove, but can you see United winning the title with him at the heart of the team? Sadly, on the evidence of this season, the answer is no."
