Andrea Pinamonti is confident he made the right decision to leave Inter Milan for Sassuolo.
The striker, after last season's loan, signed permanently for Sassuolo for €20m this past summer.
Pinamonti told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “This is the season in which I can and must do well to get where I want to be, I have to improve and I want to do it. I don't feel indebted, because last year I scored little but I gave everything.
“I didn't do the pre-season with my teammates, then between injuries and disqualifications the team was rarely full. But I have a lot of gratitude and I work every day to repay the club's trust. Now we've changed something, (Alessio) Dionisi is helping me to bring out my qualities and I'm better.
“I'm confident, we can get a lot of satisfaction. I'm very ambitious, the coach's trust is decisive. If I don't score I'm not happy for sure, but I try to stay calm. I've worked on this aspect, I believe I'm in line with the path of growth and I'm satisfied with what I've done."
He added, “I was sorry to leave the Nerazzurri, I had been there for so many years. But I was also satisfied and confident, because I didn't want to continue on loan. I am grateful to Inter, they made me grow."
