Sao Paulo's vice-president Ataide Gil Guerreiro admits fullback Douglas is edging closer to a move to Barcelona. Indeed, now it seems a deal has been agreed, with personal terms the only stumbling block to the transfer's completion.
"It's almost done," Guerreiro told ESPN Brasil.
"In three or four days the agreement should be signed."
Gurerreiro also added that Douglas, who has been touted as a long-term successor to Dani Alves, could be loaned back to the Brazilian side.
"I'll talk with the manager," Guerreiro added.
"There is a chance Barcelona will loan Douglas back to us for a year.
"Let's see if we can do that."
