Santos are holding high-level Neymar talks today over a proposed move to Real Madrid. The board has called the meeting to make a definitive decision over whether to sell now, or keep hold of Neymar until January - after the Club World Cup.
Representatives of Neymar will be present, along with club sponsors and directors, which all have skin in the game.
Real are willing to pay Neymar's €45 million buyout clause to sign him now. But if Santos force them to wait, they will low-ball the Brazilians in January, knowing they are the player's lone choice.
