Sami Khedira is confident Real Madrid can reign in leaders Barcelona.

Real are rediscovering their best form after a thumping win over Real Zaragoza.

"I have adapted to Spanish football relatively quickly. The League was a very important title, because it rewards consistency throughout the year, it is a long marathon. That is why I was so happy to win that title, but that is in the past and now we want to retain the title. I think that is always very difficult, or more difficult than winning the title the first time. We are concentrating on this new season and we will try to do it again," said Khedira.
