Salernitana legal chief Francesco Fimmano says there's a confidence in keeping hold of Boulaye Dia.

Dia is on-loan a Salernitana from Villarreal this season.

Fimmano told Radio Punto: "I certainly believe, there is the will to continue together.

"Dia is a champion, that we have seen very little yet. His experience in the national team at the World Cup discounts the fact that Senegal are not a first-rate team.

"His performance in Qatar was certainly excellent, which confirms his characteristics of the highest level.

"Salernitana keeps close to top-level players."
