SACKED! Charlton dump Dean Holden

Sky Bet League One club Charlton have said goodbye to yet another manager this week.

The Addicks have parted company with manager Dean Holden after another league defeat.

After four losses on the spin, Oxford has been axed with the club looking to salvage their season.

Holden, a former Bristol City and Oldham manager, took charge last December and helped the club finish in 10th place.

Charlton chairman James Rodwell said: “I would like to thank Dean and his staff for their hard work and dedication and sincerely wish them all the best in their future careers.

“Dean's work in steering the club clear of relegation last season should not be forgotten, nor his development of many younger players."
