Ruben Baraja has been named new coach of Valencia.
The Valencia legend has been chosen by owner Peter Lim, after meeting this morning with Miguel Ángel Corona and Javier Solís, in Singapore.
Baraja will have another club legend, Carlos Marchena, as his assistant, and between them they have the goal of ensuring that the team, currently in the relegation zone, remains in the Primera Division. Baraja has a deal to the end of the season.
Voro steps aside after taking charge as caretaker coach of VCF after the sacking of Rino Gattuso.
As a coach Baraja has led Real Zaragoza, CD Tenerife, Sporting de Gijón, Rayo Vallecano and Elche. He also worked in the VCF academy system.
