Wayne Rooney marked his return to English football with a trademark assist.
Rooney helped Derby win 2-1 against Barnsley in the Championship in his first start since signing.
It was his free kick delivery that allowed Jack Marriott to open the scoring.
Barnsley equalised through Elliot Simoes, but Derby took the lead again through Martyn Waghorn.
Rooney was involved in the second goal as well.
It was his cross field pass to the right side that allowed Derby to get in an excellent cross into the box, which Waghorn finished.
