Ronaldo holds China presser to explain Al Nassr tour cancelation among fans upset

Al Nassr has been forced to cancel their two match tour of China.

Al Nassr were scheduled to face Shanghai Shenhua and Zhejiang on January 24 and 28.

But an injury to Cristiano Ronaldo saw Al Nassr cancel the games as the former Manchester United striker was the main attraction.

While on the one hand the cancellation of the tour avoided public order problems, on the other it greatly irritated fans who'd rushed to purchase tickets for the two matches, which sold out within a few hours.

In the last few hours, Ronaldo has held a press conference, explaining what happened: "As you know in football there are things you can't control. In 22 years I haven't had many injuries, so I'm very sad because Al Nassr and I are come to enjoy this tour.

"I've been to China many times, the first time in 2003 or 2004. I feel at home here, I feel like it's my second home."
