Roma striker Edin Dzeko could be closing in on a move to Major League Soccer in the United States.

Dzeko has been at the Italian capital club since 2016 after he left Manchester City.

Corriere dello Sport reports Dzeko was almost certain to leave Roma in the summer, before the arrival of new boss Jose Mourinho.

Now he could be persuaded to stay by Mourinho, but the issue is that Dzeko's family would prefer a move to Los Angeles.

His wife moved to LA in 2010 to become a model and the couple have three children together.
