Roma striker Romelu Lukaku was pleased with his double in victory at Cagliari.

Lukaku has impressed for Roma since joining in August after a controversial summer.

He said, “I'm a professional.

“I worked during the summer. There was a lot of talk about me, but I don't like to talk.

“I prove on the pitch what I can give to a team. Today things went well."

On Roma coach Jose Mourinho, Lukaku also said: “As I've said in the past, he and I have a special relationship. He knows me and my children.

“He's someone I can trust, and he puts his trust in me. He's tough, but that's the only way that I can grow."
