Roma powerbrokers at loggerheads over Chelsea attacker Pedro

AS Roma powerbrokers are split on signing Chelsea attacker Pedro.

Off contract at the end of the month, Pedro has been in Bosman talks with the Giallorosso.

Roma's move is being driven by sporting director Gianluca Petrachi, who is eager to bring the 33 year-old to Italy for the new season.

However, Roma president James Pallotta is reluctant to sanction the move until they move players out of the club.

Pallotta insists they sell before offering Pedro a contract - much to the frustration of Petrachi, who knows they face major competition for the attacker's signature, reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
