Roma's owners are yet to respond to coach Jose Mourinho's urgings about a new contract.
Mourinho has stated in recent days a wish to extend his current deal with Roma, which expires in June.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport says the Friedkins have so far not offered any indication about a willingness to discuss new terms. For now, the owners do not see the situation as a priority.
Mourinho stated on Sunday: "I want to continue in Roma and if I continue in Roma we must think carefully that it is better to work with some young players than to do it with players who there with nothing to develop.
"I would like to continue, I am available to think differently. I haven't spoken to the club yet, when I see these fans after this match there is little to be in love with your team. A separation would always be hard for me, if it has to happen it will never be by my decision."
