AS Roma legend Daniele de Rossi has been named coach of Serie BSPAL.
It marks a first foray into club coaching for the former Roma captain.
Since 2021, De Rossi has been working with the Italian Federation as a technical coach with the national team. He was with the staff for last year's Euros triumph.
The 39 year-old also won the World Cup with Italy in 2006.
De Rossi's deal with SPAL runs to 2024.
