Roma coach Jose Mourinho is joining the football revolution in Saudi Arabia.

Mourinho is joining the board of the Mahd Sports Academy.

The Academy has been established to scout and develop local Saudi talent to lift the standards of local players.

Former Romania midfielder Ioan Lupescu is also involved, while chairman Prince Abdulaziz stated: "These efforts are aimed at cultivating a new generation of athletes who will represent the Kingdom in both continental and international tournaments."
