AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho has offered his thoughts on football's motivations.
Mourinho says for him, it is all about winning.
He declared, "The most important thing in our sport is to win and not to sell a philosophy. We shouldn't sell excuses, but be winners.
"It's sometimes not about bringing home a cup.
"When I see colleagues fighting not to be relegated and manage to keep their team in the division, for me, this also means winning.
"You have to have a strong personality to say: 'ok, I'm the boss, I make the decisions'. This is non-negotiable. If the training sessions start at 10am on morning, I don't wait a single minute.
"Even if you are Diego Maradona You have to be strong and soft at the same time, be open to the thoughts of the team and the players."
