Roma chief Pinto welcomes new signing Ndicka; happy with new Cristante deal

Roma sports chief Tiago Pinto has welcomed new signing Evan Ndicka.

Ndicka has signed for Roma today from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Pinto said: "Despite his young age, Evan has already gained important experience, in one of the most prestigious leagues and with a European title achieved as a protagonist.

"He was a particularly coveted player at an international level and we are really happy that he chose to wear the Roma shirt."

Pinto also commented on this week's news of Bryan Cristante penning a new deal to 2027.

He said: "We are really pleased to be able to announce this renewal: Cristante has been the protagonist of constant growth over the years and he has deservedly conquered all the goals he has achieved, including the international titles achieved with the national team and with Roma.

"From season to season Bryan has never stopped, he has always put Roma's interests first and, in our eyes, he embodies the qualities that we would like to pass on to our young players, above all professionalism and courage."
