Inter Milan defender Nelson Rivas collapsed during training last week.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Rivas suddenly collapsed to the ground unconscious at 15.45 local time on Saturday afternoon.

His teammates were "terrified" according to the newspaper report, but the Colombian was able to quickly recover and stand up on his own two feet.

Rivas was immediately rushed to hospital at Cinisello for TAC and ECG tests, but was set for further examinations yesterday.
