Philadelphia Union have signed a pair of 2014 MLS SuperDraft picks.
The Union have secured the services of Pedro Ribeiro and Richie Marquez who were taken with selections 15 and 44 respectively in January's draft.
23-year old Brazilian midfielder Ribeiro arrives at PPL Park from Coastal Carolina University after scoring 31 goals and providing 26 assists. He also spent time with the Union's PDL Affiliate club Reading United AC.
21-year defender Marquez spent the last four years with University of Redlands where he won NSCAA All-American honors.
Additionally, Philly have waived midfielder Matt Kassel who made five appearances for the club during the 2013 MLS season.
