Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has been missing from action in recent weeks due to concussion, it has been claimed.
Odegaard was struck in the face in training by a ball at London Colney, reports the Daily Mail.
After being left concussed, he was immediately withdrawn from Arsenal's squads to face Newcastle and Sevilla due to new strict rules on head injuries in the UK. He was also not in the squad for Saturday's 3-1 win over Burnley.
Odegaard has since withdrawn from Norway's squad for this week's international programme.
The Gunners resume their season next week against Brentford.
