REVEALED: Tension grows between Real Madrid coach Ancelotti and Guler

Tension is growing between Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti and Arda Guler.

Guler is feeling unfairly treated by Ancelotti, who is yet to give the Turkey midfielder a full debut.

AS says Guler is upset and does not understand his situation. He accepts that he is not a starter at just 19 years old, but there is a middle ground between that and the current situation. The crux of the matter is that the attitude of the player and his surroundings is beginning to wear on Ancelotti.

He had a first show of upset against Almería: after warming up throughout the second half, Ancelotti left him without playing and, when facing the bench and passing behind him, he threw the bib, visibly upset.

The coach played down the situation at a press conference and, six days later, put him on for 10 minutes against Las Palmas. But it was a mirage: afterwards, nothing against Getafe and Atlético. He did have a quarter of an hour against Girona and injury time at Rayo Vallecano. But in general, brief participations and, above all, in inconsequential moments.

That was going to change against Sevilla, when the second gesture occurred. With the score 0-0 and the team determined to win, Carletto ordered him to prepare to go on. He was already dressed in shorts and listening to Davide Ancelotti's instructions... when Luka Modric scored and made it 1-0. Then the coach decided to completely change the plan: more containment and less attack. So Guler put his jacket back on and was out of the game. Sitting on the bench, his attitude was what Ancelotti didn't like: angry, thinking about himself, instead of enjoying the team's nervous victory with everyone.

Afterwards, Ancelotti said: "After Modric's goal I changed the plan, it's not that complicated and I don't have to give explanations... if you don't understand it, I can't help you."
