Manchester United are set to confirm their capture of Raphael Varane on Wednesday.
The Red Devils have still not finalised Varane's medical and official signing, despite agreeing a fee with Real Madrid weeks ago.
According to the Daily Star, Varane may even make the Leeds UnitedPremier League opener for the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Saturday if everything goes according to plan.
Varane is set to cost United £41million, as he only had a year remaining on his contract at Real.
The deal's official confirmation was delayed by Varane's holidays, traveling to the UK and COVID-19 related quarantining.
