REVEALED: Juventus wiretaps show Man Utd offered Van de Beek in swap

A Manchester United swap deal involving Donny van de BeekWeston McKennie has emerged from the investigation into Juventus' financial management.

Juventus club directors were subjected to wiretaps for over a year and now evidence is being presented to magistrates with the request to open a trial into financial irregularities

It has been suggested that in August 2021, the Red Devils attempted a swap deal just a year after the club had signed Van de Beek from Ajax.

Van de Beek moved to Old Trafford for a fee of £39million and was expected to be a hit at the club.

However, he has failed to cement a spot in the team and has largely been a failure since the transfer.

This led to United trying to get him out of the club and according to Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Marco Guidi, he was offered to the Serie A giants.

Evidently, the move did not go through and the USA midfielder remained in Italy.
