Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has sought to mend bridges with Inter Milan.

Lukaku, after last season's loan, has angered Inter directors and fans by holding talks with Juventus.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says Lukaku's agents are hoping to bring Inter back to the negotiating table.

And the striker has recently contacted Inter and his former teammates to apologise for his talks with Juventus and to ask for forgiveness.

However, it's been revealed both management and the players were left unimpressed. There's anger inside the dressing room over Lukaku's talks with Juve.
